Love Classical is a campaign for promoting classical music in Romania. It happens on the streets with composers names in Bucharest, where I placed stickers that read "You are walking daily on Verdi street, but when was the last time you listened to him?" and feature a QR code that once scanned, plays the music of that specific composer's street you are walking on.
Urban exploration + classical music = Love Classical.
This idea came to me during various protests I attended in recent years throughout Bucharest. I have noticed that people do not necessarily know their rights and liberties, do not know the attributions of the president, the government, parliament or other state institutions.
Therefore, the Constitutuion of Romania has to be more accessible to the general public.
I think its vital to be informed in this direction, especially the youth, that's why I have made this Instagram account for the Constituion. I have chosen a more relaxed tone of voice, the Constitution wants to be your friend, follows you and invites you to follow back. So by knowing each other better you will be more informed, thus more powerful.
Even if Romania is part of European Union since a very long time, Romanians don’t realize that each part of their country, from a train station to an amusing park, can be renewed or built from scratch with European funds. This is happening because Romania’s total funds absorption rate is only 13.29% in the 2014-2020 programming period.
We want Romanians to realize how important is their vote in European Parliament elections for the next European projects made in their country.
That’s why we will post posters all around their cities, in places that can be turned into better ones with European funds.
These stickers’ message is simple: “Here can be better with European funds. Vote on the 26th of May.”
Moreover, by launching www.maibine.info, we put together the most successful projects built with European funds in Romania, to give people the best examples of how Romania can change through UE help.
Klaus Iohannis Presidential campaign
Part of the online team, I was coordinating the creative process around the overall campaign communication.
I was responsible for creating and implementing Facebook apps, designing and releasing different campaign websites and also Instagram activations.
I also worked for the President inside the Presidential Administration of Romania, supervising the entire online communication of the institution.
I was involved in different projects, such as the complete redesign of the Administration website, brand identity and guidelines with all the assets needed, social media, online campaigns and more.
To provide young teenagers with a good start in life, both as people and as citizens, the Fanbook Reading Club and the Romanian Constitution on Instagram formed CIVIC FANBOOK, a civic initiative project, presenting and debating fundamental rights and obligations as we find them in the Romanian Constitution.
The debates will be moderated by special guests - personalities from the cultural and artistic area without any political involvement, sharing their practical experience in order to mobilize high school students to know and to demand their rights and also to stimulate them to get civically involved.
The Constitution of Romania on Instagram posts an article every day in a visual-friendly and impactful form. It addresses young people, coming down from the law in an environment where they feel comfortable.

After 15 years in which the Romanian electronic music scene evolved in attitude and artistic awareness, a critical mass of producers tookshape, from which new values can grow. Until now, the majority of themhave been working by themselves and sharing their music only in smallcircles. The public is not aware of their existence and does notperceive them as an artistic movement of any kind. This lack ofcommunication and perspectives (the chance to be heard by a biggeraudience, to have local and international success, to be appreciated, supported and promoted) discourages any future producers that arethinking to choose this direction.
Local Records appears in this context, a promoting platform that wants to create an artistic community of mutual interests and to discover new Romanian sound by encouraging producers which currently don’t have the stimuli to persevere and show their true potential. The Romanian scene is young and fresh. It has lived its childhood and just started its creative adolescence. Native producers found their proximal genre and are already expressing their specific differences – this is the road to originality and authenticity. They integrate theirenvironment and personal history into their work. In local conditions, they manage to create an authentic sound based on global considerations. We’re not trying to theorize it, we are underlining its emergence.
